Shakeology No Bake Cookies

This recipe for these no bakes is super easy! And they are super tasty. Now, don’t make the same mistake I did and use steel cut oats that haven’t been cooked yet! The cookie still tasted amazing- just a bit crunchy!:)

1 cup chocolate shakeology

1 cup of oats (rolled oats)

1/2 cup of honey

1 cup of peanut butter ( I like the whipped peanut butter!)

  1. In a big bowl combine  the Shakeology and the rolled oats.
  2. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat combine the peanut butter and honey. Stir and heat until nice and blended.
  3. Add the peanut butter mixture to your dry ingredients in the bowl and mix well. Here is where you could add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts if you like!
  4. Spoon out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or tin foil.  Freeze for 1 hour
  5. I store mine in the fridge and take one out when needed!

Easy Egg Cups!

These egg cups are super easy, super tasty and  portable! I make these and then eat 2 for lunch with additional veggies and half an english muffin! The beauty of this recipe is for the vegetables you can use any vegetables you want! Whatever you have in you fridge, or whatever is in season you can use.  **  A little tip- spray the pan with some cooking spray because otherwise they stick really bad!**

For my 21 day fixers here is how I count this recipe- 2 egg cups equals 1 red, 1/2 green, 1/4 blue

Peppers- green, yellow, red

Mini tomatoes- chopped up

Shredded cheese

Egg Whites- 1/2 cup

Whole eggs 3-4 eggs

Splash of skim milk

  1. Chop up your peppers, tomatoes or whatever vegetables you want !Evenly distribute them in your muffin pans.
  2. In a bowl mix your eggs, egg whites and a splash of milk! Whisk it all up and evenly pour over the vegetables in each muffin tin.
  3. Sprinkle a little shredded cheese on each muffin top.
  4. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes! (each oven is a bit different so watch them near the end)

Shakeology Peanut Buttercups!

THESE ARE AMAZING! Get ready for these to rock your world.PicsArt_1452821106169

When I did this batch I did them in big muffin cups and they were way too big! Good….  but way to big. So I would use the mini muffin cups:)

Ingredients Needed

Chocolate Shakeology

Coconut Oil

Peanut Butter (organic/all natural if possible!)

  1. Take 6 tsp of coconut oil and melt it for 30 seconds in the microwave. Then add in 3/4 to 1 scoop of chocolate Shakeology. (The more Shakeology you put in the darker more richer taste you get!)
  2. Stir well. Then pour a little bit of mixture in each muffin cup.
  3. Place in freezer for 10 min
  4. Take out of freezer and put a little dollop of peanut butter in each muffin cup. Smooth it over.
  5. Put back in freezer for 10 minutes.
  6. Repeat step 1, so take 6 tsp more of coconut oil and melt it. Then add and stir your 3/4 to 1 scoop of Shakeology.
  7. Pour the remaining mixture over each cup.
  8. Place back in the freezer for 20-30 minutes

Voila! They are amazing! They are best stored in the fridge or freezer.

This is a treat but I would count each cup as 1/2 red and 1 tsp.

Why Shakeology?

2016-01-03 10.31.10I get asked the question a lot.. why Shakeology? That stuff is expensive isn’t it?

Here is the truth.. yes it is not cheap, but it isn’t meant to be cheap! I started Shakeology in October and I bought my first bag as part of a challenge pack. I thought I will try it with my 4 week program and do the group with all the challengers and then I am going to cancel. I was dead set that I couldn’t afford it and I would definitely be cancelling.

So the first time I tried it I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty good! It tasted sweet and I had saw all these cool recipes people were doing so I gave some of them a try. They all tasted amazing. Then I started to notice how I felt. I felt better. I had more energy. I wasn’t as bloated as I used to be. My sugar cravings had decreased. My skin and hair have improved.

The big thing for me is that it is filling! I have it for breakfast and I am not hungry or on a sugar low 1 hour later. I have had other shakes before but all of them left me hungry and about an hour later my sugar was crashing.

Shakeology has a low glycemic index so it is perfect for people with any kind of sugar issues, whether it be diabetes or hypoglycemia.

It has been clinically proven to lower cholesterol, lower and control blood sugars as well as aid in weight loss.

It sets the tone for the whole entire day when I start with my Shakeology. It is the first thing I put into my body and I know in the first 30 minutes of my day I am ready to rock and push and reach for  my goals!

Lets face it, the hardest part for most people about losing weight is the nutrition. Shakeology takes the guess work out of one of your meals.

I am not going to sit here and discredit the fact that it costs money. It does!  I have had to make some sacrifices in order to continue to drink Shakeology and reap the benefits it is providing me. I no longer stop at Tim’s every morning !I have cancelled my gym membership because hell I don’t need it anymore now that I have Beachbody on Demand, and I have cut back on all my eating out that I was doing.

It comes down to this.. Shakeology is way more than just a protein powder. It is a complete meal replacement. It has a complete multi vitamin in each shake. ( There is another thing I don’t need to buy anymore!) It has  protein, digestive enzymes, prebiotics, adaptogens, and phytonutrients. Amazing things that no other shake has. It truly is a one of kind product and something that needs to be tried before it is immediately dismissed !

It comes in Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Vegan Chocolate, Vegan Strawberry and  now the new ***Cafe Latte***! I tried the Cafe Latte this weekend and it was amazing!
